Energy is what is defined as the ability or the capacity to perform work activities.
We use energy to do work and make all movements. When we eat something our bodies transform the food into energy in order to perform activities. When we run or walk or do some work, we ‘burn’ energy in our bodies. Work means a force exerted from the body to carry on some activities. There are many sources of energy and it’s conserved in different sectors such as domestic, transport and industrial sectors. Various energy sources are solar energy, Nuclear energy, hydel energy, geo-thermal energy, Wind energy and many more.
When having a look over the rapidly increasing population one can definitely imagine the amount of energy being conserved by the people. But it’s our fortune that people are quite aware of this uprising problem and surely wants to get way out of it! They have gradually started making a conscious effort to conserve it and thereby put less pressure on the earth. They have understood the fact that the reduction of amount of energy conserved will in turn lower the amount of pollutants released in the air and eventually help keep our environment clean. So, when the environment is here in the picture there has to come terms like Green, Environment or eco-friendly, Non-polluting factors, etc. in and changes the picture not drastically but gradually.
Its here where an interaction between the natural resources and the world-wide population has to draw a balancing line in order to keep the environment green eternally. Green energy is commonly thought upon which is in fact in relevance with electricity generation. It simultaneously includes the processes which are naturally energetic. In short why green energy is considered as an important factor today is because it provides and tends to fulfill needs which abides in present and moreover without even affecting the future generation to accomplish their needs.
Green energy resources are generally those which come under the title Renewable Sources infact green energy is repeatedly used identically with the term- Renewable Energy. Energies whish come under this are solar power energy, wind power energy, hydro power energy.
Solar energy
In simple words is energy obtained from Sun. Since ages we are using it in simple form and till date science had taken it to some other end, lets not say the end but on the path of prolonged progress. Apart from providing us light, warmth and nutrients it is converted in electricity. Use of solar cell or photoelectric cell is a device that helps converting light into electricity. Its done by absorbing sunlight on materials, preserve and finally gathers heat. Photovoltaic (PV) is an well known method that translates sunlight into electricity.
The other renewable energy, wind energy
Which is also a form of solar energy eventually used to concert into electricity using wind turbines, into mechanical power using wind mills, and wind pumps in order to pump water. Wind turbines actually mechanical energy of wind into electric energy by rotating or spinning generator in order to generate electricity.
Hydro power energy
Which means energy generated from water is also renewable as mentioned above the energy is extracted from water of streams, rivers, reservoirs or either from dams. Kinetic energy (the one from flowing water) has been used since ancient times. Now it’s generally used to generate electric energy. Turbines are been placed inside the gush of water intending to convert its kinetic energy into mechanical, which in turn causes turbines to rotate at high rate. Further the turbines make a generator that converts mechanical energy into electric.
Thus, as energy is essential to all lives world-wide we cannot forget either environment is also equally important. The concept of Green Energy not only gives you and me the space to think and act upon the fact of not being selfish and preserving energies for the next generations but also bring a new attitude to see the place green forever on which we are living in. Going green are both a commercial advantage and a chance for humankind to allow changing rather GOOD Change. “Be seen, be heard and be noticed at Green and not dump this fantastic idea into bin!”
